The firm is currently running a wide span of projects, range from small scale projects such as installation, to big scale development as urban planning. For design strategies, we are now employing various computational tools, as well as down to ground design approach like sketching and physical modelling. Both ways offer us inspirational resources to generate a unique design proposal for each project.

As a new generation of architects, we are now observing and participating the significant re-configuration of the urban space, especially in China. Beijing, capital of China also where the office is located, is at the central point of this happening phenomenon, it offers a great opportunity for us to take a close insight view of this phenomenon, and testify our design process.

We believe that there are underlined space disciplines that help us to shape and re-shape existing space, prove and improve the space quality and functionality. Scale is not a limit of project but an activate parameter that defines the role and importance of the space, either globally as in urban space or locally as in neighbour space. By employing either computational tools or any other ways of design tool sets, we are able to extracting the space discipline, driving it within our design process, thus generating the design proposals that are logical, sensible and functional, which are also feeding back to the overall space arrangement, refining the existing urban space, therefore a new urban space typology.
